Maryland residents can start heading to polling places for in-person early voting starting Thursday.
Here's everything you need to know to vote.
Maryland's key down-ballot races
In addition to the presidential election, voters will decide several high-profile down-ballot races. For a complete list of competitive races, see the latest Senate and House rankings.

- Maryland State Senate: The state last voted for a Republican senator in 1980, but former Gov. Larry Hogan tied with Democratic challenger Angela Alsobrooks in recent polls, angering former President Trump. He has come up with a series of moderate policy proposals. Hogan, a Republican, has been a vocal critic of Trump. Allbrooks brings experience as a county executive and prosecutor, and the state's blue leanings give her an advantage. This race is ranked Lean D in the Fox News Power Rankings.
- Maryland's 6th Congressional District: Democrat April McClain Delaney faces Republican Neil Parrott, which should be safe territory for Democrats. This race probably ranks D in the power rankings.
