With less than two weeks until Election Day, Donald Trump has a narrow lead over Kamala Harris, according to a Wall Street Journal poll released Thursday.
Trump gained the upper hand by: 47-45 leadThis is a change from the magazine's poll in August, which showed Mr. Camara leading by two points. This 2 percentage points is within the poll's margin of error.
While Ms. Harris' favorability and job performance numbers have declined since August, Mr. Trump's job performance numbers have increased. In August, half of voters viewed her favorably. According to the poll, as of late October, 45% viewed her favorably, while 53% viewed her unfavorably.
Harris' performance as vice president is also at its worst since the Journal began asking voters about her performance. 54% of voters disapproved of her performance, while 42% approved.

Advertising and “candidate performance” contributed to the change, the paper said.
“Voters are finally starting to get to know her,” Republican pollster David Lee, who co-wrote the poll with Democrat Michael Bocian, told the Journal. (Related: Wall Street billionaires are starting to bet on Trump's victory)
“The defining period is coming to an end, and more people are dissatisfied with what they learned about her than they are with what they know about President Trump,” Lee said.
Issues on which voters appear to trust Trump more than Harris include the economy and immigration. Polls show voters support Trump over Harris on the economy, up 12 points from 8 points in August. When it comes to immigration, they trust him by 15 points, a big jump from his seven-point lead over Harris in August.
