Taylor Swift-Themed Cruise Ends in Passenger Tragedy

A woman is missing after falling overboard during a Taylor Swift-themed Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas, the U.S. Coast Guard reports.

A 66-year-old woman aboard the cruise ship Allure of the Seas fell overboard Tuesday night, authorities said.

The woman, who has not been identified, reportedly went missing 27 miles from Nassau after the ship left the Port of Miami.

According to , the cruise was not sanctioned by the pop sensation and was advertised as “In My Cruise Era: Taylor Fan's Cruise Group.” TMZ.

The cruise promises dance parties, karaoke, scavenger hunts, crafts and other Swifty-themed activities for passengers.

The cruise costs $1,573 for a double occupancy.

The search for the missing woman continued as of Wednesday morning, with an HC-144 aircraft crew and an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter joining the search.

“During this difficult time, we are also providing support and support to our guests' families,” a Royal Caribbean spokesperson said in a statement. “To respect the privacy of our guest's family, we will not provide further details.”

No further details regarding the identity of the woman identified were released.

“The crew immediately began search and rescue operations and are cooperating with local authorities,” a Cruise spokesperson said. added.
