Joel Embiid confronted a local columnist inside the Philadelphia 76ers' locker room Saturday night, berated him, and ended up mentioning his son and late brother in a recent landmark article. I confronted him. The NBA suspended Embiid for three games.
Embiid has not yet played this season as he works his way back from what the team calls “management of his left knee.” of 76ersare projected to be one of the best teams in the East entering the season, currently starting the year with a 1-5 record. The Sixers were already fined $100,000 this season for failing to disclose what was keeping Embiid out of the lineup.
The suspension begins when Embiid is listed as healthy enough to play.

Embiid took issue with Philadelphia Inquire columnist Marcus Hayes' mention of his family in an article criticizing Embiid's lack of playing time this season.

Hayes was substandard, but Embiid still made a move on the media person.
