Danica Patrick ‘seriously’ surprised she did not get Mar-a-Lago invite

Danica Patrick didn't get to take a victory lap with President-elect Donald Trump.

Shortly after midnight Wednesday, with Trump's election victory over Vice President Kamala Harris all but assured, the former IndyCar and NASCAR driver posted an Instagram Story of her sitting in a hallway with two friends. .

“Where was our invitation to Mar-a-Lago? Seriously,” Patrick posted above a photo with photographer Dennis Bovey and author Jessica Reed Kraus.

President Trump celebrated his big victory at his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, with close aides and prominent conservative supporters.

That list also included UFC president Dana White, who at one point sat between Trump and Elon Musk.

Patrick was apparently in attendance at another celebration in Palm Beach, where he was joined by former ESPN anchor Sage Steele.

Patrick campaigned heavily for Trump in the days leading up to the election, speaking at rallies and even accompanying the president-elect.

Missing Mar-a-Lago didn't dampen Patrick's excitement about Trump's victory.
