A couple who had dreams of visiting every state capitol were finally able to cross their final state thanks to their local Chick-fil-A.

Employees at the Chick-fil-A Market in Springwoods Village contacted the Alaska State Capitol, the last stop on the Chilkats' bucket list, and asked if the Chilkats would have to go there in person. I checked to see if there was a way to visit the Capitol.

Employees photographed the Chilkats' wedding around the building in Juneau, Alaska, and also signed their names on visitor records.
The couple was then given a gift at a local fast food restaurant.

Alaska State Capitol staff sent the Chilkats photos, scrapbooks and gifts, and the Chick-fil-A team presented them with a custom painting of the couple in front of Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau.

“Over the years, Bill and Becky have become an integral part of our Chick-fil-A community,” he said.
“From weekly morning bingo to celebrating family milestones at the restaurant, we loved being a part of their lives and learning more about their adventures.”
