MSNBC's Joy Reid said Thursday on her show, “The Readout,” that Latino men who voted for President-elect Donald Trump in Tuesday's election will not care about what happens to their undocumented relatives living in the United States. He said it would be his responsibility.
“While 91% of black women voted for Kamala Harris, 53% of all white women voted for Kamala Harris due to the blatant disdain and demonization hurled at her by J.D. Vance and courtesy of Donald Trump,” Reed said. “I voted for Trump even though the Supreme Court stripped women of their bodily autonomy.”
she continued. “Also, Latino men, despite the utter disrespect shown by President Trump and his promise to deport some mixed-status families, most of them voted with a 55% majority. You voted for Stephen Miller and David Duke, and against your own sister, who chose Kamala Harris with 60% of the vote. This means that you own everything that happens to your mixed-status family, your wife, your sisters, and your abuela. ”
