It was Logano's fourth win of the season. He earned a spot in the postseason with a win in Nashville and reached victory lane in Atlanta in the Round of 16. He won again in Las Vegas, qualifying for the championship race, and was the cherry on top of a great year. Here are the results in Phoenix.

“I love the playoffs. I love it. What a race! It was a Team Penske battle at the end,” he said. According to NASCAR.com. “I had a good restart and was able to get in front of 12 people, and he was so fast on his long runs there that it was all I could do to hold him back.”

It was Logano's second win in three years. He won the title in 2022 and won the title for the first time in 2018. He showed off some incredible defensive driving while keeping Blaney in check.

Blaney entered the race as the defending champion and had a great chance to win at Phoenix. But there was no getting around Logano. Car No. 22 won with a difference of 0.330 seconds.

”[Spotter] Coleman Presley,” Logano said when asked how he kept Blaney at bay. “He was telling me where he was. He was there and he told me the best lane to run in. And it gave him dirty air and because of my Ford. It's a balance of running the fastest laps.

“It got a little too tight at the end and I didn’t wrap the bottom as well as I wanted.”

It was a 1-2 finish for Team Penske. It was the first time the group had achieved such a result in the championship.

“I love the playoffs, I love it,” Logano said. “What a team. What was the last time Penske fought? Three guys? That's really special.”

Roger Penske wanted to make sure he got the credit for his team.

“It's all about people,” Penske said. “My name may be on the door, but it's all the people that make the difference, and we definitely have them on this team.”

Blaney said he was ultimately happy with the Penske team.

“At least the Penske car won,” he said. “They put together a great playoff run and we're happy. If you're racing against anybody, you're happy that he won the championship and Roger got one win and two losses and Roger got three wins in a row. I'm so happy that it's so nice and Ford. ”
