Trump knocks critic Anthony Scaramucci as 'major loser'

President-elect Trump has responded to the constant criticism of former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, dismissing him as a “big loser.”

Trump's rebuke of Scaramucci comes days after he got into an argument with CNBC host Joe Kernen over an attack on his former boss during an interview with the network last week.

“You have thoroughly disparaged Trump,” Kernen told Scaramucci on Friday. “You'll always be welcome at the legacy media table and people will nod when you disparage Trump. That's always going to happen. ” he said.

He added a question, “But aren't you at least a little embarrassed, or at least humbled, by how wrong you were about the feelings of most Americans?”

A former Trump official, who had been in office for only 11 days before being fired and had expected Vice President Harris to win the White House, hit back at Kernen by saying he congratulated the former president on his election victory.

“What do you want me to do? Can I bend the knee in front of you?” Scaramucci told the CNBC host. “We have strong disagreements about many things concerning Mr. Trump's character.”

“You like Trump, right? I've been around Trump, so I've seen the ugliness in him. By the way, Joe, it's not just me,” he added.

Mr. Kernen said Mr. Trump was “very good for your career,” and Mr. Scaramucci said he could “live on this for another four years.”

“Why don't you just calm down, Joe,” Scaramucci retorted. “We've known each other for a long time. Are you trying to say that you and I can't disagree about someone's character? Is that what you're saying?

President Trump responded to the exchange on Monday's Truth Social, slamming Scaramucci, who has become a vocal critic of the president-elect in recent years, while praising Kerner for “doing a great job.”

President Trump: “Anthony Scaramucci is a big loser who was fired from the administration after just 11 days because of his insane 'half-brother' interview with then-CNN's Chris Cuomo.'' I wrote In his post. “Great job Joe K.”

Scaramucci, who was just one of many Harris aides who supported Harris, said Trump's victory last week was “a sad day for many people.”

“I think today is a sad day for a lot of people, you know, they're talking about non-white immigrants. [in the] “The United States is really in an us-versus-them situation, which is dehumanizing in a way,” Scaramucci said in an interview with CNN.

“And hopefully when he takes on a leadership role again, I hope he takes on that leadership role.” [a] Stop and think that we need to come together as a country and that there needs to be a healing process in this country,” he added.
