Week 11 PPR RB fantasy football rankings including injury news, sleepers, more

Week 10 of the NFL season begins. Now it's time to move on to week 11. Or how about a quick look back at how our fantasy running backs did in Week 10? OK, you twisted my arm.

First of all, welcome back, Christian McCaffrey! Although he didn't have a big fantasy day, he was still able to finish as RB10 in PPR scoring thanks to his strong usage and six receptions for 78 yards. Overall he touched the ball 20 times, which is great to see in his first game back.

Tuba Hubbard told everyone to take Jonathan Brooks' fantasy stock and keep it hidden for the time being. Hubbard, who is coming off an impressive contract extension, totaled 169 yards and a touchdown against the Giants in Germany.

Bijan Robinson is finally starting to put up the numbers we know he has. After failing to rank above RB15 in the first five weeks, Robinson has been above RB10 in the last five weeks, including RB1 last week against the Saints.

Week 11 Running back injury

tank bigsby jaguars

Bigsby dealt with an ankle injury last week, which ended up handing most of the work to Travis Etienne. Mac Jones isn't going to help Jacksonville's situation, although he appears to be OK this week after playing through the injury. If Jones starts again, the Jaguars' running backs will be a scary fantasy play against the Lions.

Aaron Jones, Vikings

Jones was injured last week when he took a big hit to the ribs, but initial reports indicate he is likely to play against the Titans. If he is unable to go, Cam Akers and Ty Chandler will likely split the workload in his place.

Jonathan Brooks, Panthers

Will that happen this week? It's true that Brooks' debut week is likely to be this week, but given what Chuba Hubbard has been doing, I don't expect Brooks to be a fantasy player from the get-go, and maybe even for the rest of the season. Maybe not.

Brian Robinson, Commander

Robinson has missed the past two games with a hamstring injury and will have to wait to see if he is cleared to play Thursday night against the Eagles. His status seems questionable at the moment, but at some point we'll find out if he's able to participate in full practice. Otherwise, Austin Ekeler will once again have the best start in fantasy out of the Commander's backfield.

Week 11 Running Back Sleeper

Nick Chubb, Browns vs. Saints

The Saints rank 29th in fantasy points allowed to running backs this season. Over the past eight games, they have allowed 12 rushing touchdowns to running backs. They rank 31st in run defense EPA and 28th in fantasy points allowed to running backs. Javonte Williams, who had just been demoted for not being good enough, totaled over 100 yards and two touchdowns against them in Week 7. I can't say anything positive about their offense at this point.

Nick Chubb couldn't ask for a better matchup. He has now played in three games and is on a bye. So far, he hasn't been efficient, but his last two games have been lost to two good run defenses. charger And the Ravens. He should have a much easier time putting up numbers this week.

David Montgomery, Lions vs. Jaguars

Montgomery has been a solid fantasy player all season, but his upside has often been limited as he has been taken out of work by Jahmil Gibbs at times. The Lions are nearly two-touchdown favorites this week against the hapless Jaguars, who will likely be without Trevor Lawrence, giving Montgomery a full-time workload against a poor Jaguars run defense. It's a great opportunity.
