3 NFL upset picks for Week 11

Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season has begun, providing fans with some great games.

A big game will be played in the AFC North early on Sunday. baltimore ravens and pittsburgh steelers. Sunday's schedule will also feature an interesting match between the two countries. chicago bears and green bay packersas well as matches between atlanta falcons and denver broncos.

A huge conflict then ensues between the two. kansas city chiefs and buffalo bills.

Will we see an upset this week? Here are some games created by our staff. SB Nation I'm aiming.

New England Patriots (+5) vs. Los Angeles Rams

Yes, folks, this is a really bad home run choice.

But hope is back in New England when it comes to the Patriots.

Drake Maye's dramatic touchdown on the final play of regulation two weeks ago. tennessee titans That was the first spark of joy, and that game ended with Maye throwing an interception in overtime in a loss to New England, but last weekend's game against the Chicago Bears was a different story. Maye scored a touchdown on the offensive end, his teammates on the defensive end rushed fellow rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, and New England won 19-3.

Now, the Patriots welcome Matthew Stafford and the Rams on a cross-country road trip for an early Sunday morning game. That's a recipe for an upset in my book.

Washington Commanders (+4.5) vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Has everyone forgotten how great the commander is? This team only lost by one point to a very good Steelers team, and I tend to attribute that loss to leading rusher Brian Robinson Jr., who was sidelined with an injury.

I'm not saying this will be an easy game, but there's little that would lead me to believe the Eagles are worth more than a +3 line for a standard home game. in very At least I think this could be another one-score game, and to be honest, I actually think Washington will ride into this game and win.

Kliff Kingsbury's spread is brutal to defend, and as great as Philadelphia's pass defense is, you can't shake the feeling that this might come as a shock to them.

Atlanta Falcons (+2.5) vs. Denver Broncos

This game really could go either way, but I'm a big fan of the Falcons' offense. They face a tough Broncos defense, but one that is also susceptible to receiving by running backs (22nd in DVOA against RBs, top 10 against all other skill positions). Atlanta has a natural force in running back Bijan Robinson and a skilled position group that can put up big numbers offensively.

On the other side of the ball, I'm worried about QB Bo Nix, who will be playing against a team that relies on capitalizing on mistakes. Knicks has been playing well lately and has shown a lot of growth in the areas I was concerned about his growth. Now he faces an Atlanta team without a true pass rush. But I think safeties Jesse Bates and Justin Simmons are going to give him problems and they're going to force him to make mistakes.
