Harris’s Debt-Ridden Campaign Fundraises off Gaetz AG Nomination

Vice President Kamala Harris, who lost her presidential bid, is using Matt Gaetz's nomination as Donald Trump's attorney general to solicit donations.

Wednesday's fundraising email came as officials revealed that Harris' campaign was $20 million in debt in the final weeks of the campaign, Breitbart News reported.

Gaetz is “still the subject of an investigation by the House Ethics Committee. Even his Republican allies are shocked by this choice, and that speaks volumes.” the petition states.
The email also attacks President Trump's other nominees, including his nomination of Pete Hegseth for secretary of defense.

The paper said Gaetz's nomination “follows a disturbing pattern in recent days of President Trump appointing unqualified individuals to Cabinet posts, including appointing a Fox News personality to head the Pentagon.” It is said that

Hegseth is a decorated infantry officer who served in the National Guard for more than 18 years, serving in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan and reaching the rank of major.

The email said Gaetz and Trump “intended to weaponize the Department of Justice to protect themselves and their allies, and we will stop them from carrying out Trump's plans for revenge and retaliation.” Must be,” it says.

The Biden-Harris administration pursued multiple criminal charges against Trump, including appointing Jack Smith as special counsel, an appointment that was later found to be unconstitutional.

The email read: “To help ensure Trump and Gates are held accountable and to prevent them from violating our rights, please donate $50 or more to support the Harris Fight Fund program. Can you please donate whatever amount you think is appropriate?'' it concludes.

Gaetz resigned from the House of Representatives on Wednesday. Breitbart reports:

Mike Johnson said Gaetz resigned because of a state law that gives him “an eight-week period to select and fill a vacancy.”

“If we start the clock now and do the math, we might be able to fill that seat as early as January 3, when the new Congress takes its new oath of office,” Johnson said, explaining Gaetz's reasoning. .
