Rep. Warren Davidson (R-Ohio) said in an interview Thursday that President-elect Donald Trump's cabinet choices, some of which have been highly controversial, are “justice” rather than “retribution.” He said it represents. Breitbart News Daily.
Host Mike Slater asked Trump what he personally thought about President Trump's choice of former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) for attorney general.
“I felt so energized. I mean, I went to comms. Man, find a clip of Chuck Schumer saying, 'You reaped a whirlwind, you reaped a whirlwind.' he said. Now you'll have to pay the price. ” So, you know, we got the clip. We couldn’t get the footage up fast enough,” he said, referring to screeching voices on the left who claim President Trump’s choice is “retaliation.”
“Now they're like, 'Oh, this is retaliation,' and they're like, 'No, no, this is retaliation.' It's justice. You guys really did these things,” he said. He explained in detail what the leftists had done.
“You really targeted pro-life Catholics. You really targeted parents who attended school board meetings, you really weaponized the government. You really put people in prison for non-violent crimes.” You tried to bankrupt people. You completely corrupted and abused the whole purpose of the Department of Justice, and it will be fixed, and frankly, it did. People will be held accountable,” Davidson promised.
