Podcast mogul Joe Rogan told his audience he was grateful to artists, musicians and comedians who supported Donald Trump for fear of ruining their careers.
Logan talks to New York-based general counsel Josh Dubin. noticed Too many Americans are afraid to exercise their First Amendment right to free speech and cancel culture because of the radical left's oppressive speech codes.
“There are a lot of people who don't speak their minds,” Logan said at the beginning of the discussion on free speech. “So you know how many hippie-like artists have contacted me, hey! Like artists and musicians and comedians, thanking me for supporting Trump because they can’t. He did it for me.”
Mr. Logan announced his support for Mr. Trump the day before Election Day this month.
“They say they want to attack, but they don't want to be attacked,” the country's most popular podcaster continued. “They can't say that. They think the country is going in the wrong direction, and if Elon Musk hadn't bought Twitter, the government would have almost complete control over social media. I think it should have happened.”
He added: “This is a dangerous precedent to set, whether by a right-wing or left-wing government.” “And that's what's happening in the UK, where people are being jailed for tweeting and posting on Facebook.”
Logan has warned that our freedoms are under attack and told supporters that the First Amendment is at risk of being undermined if Kamala Harris wins the White House.
“Everything is wrong,” he exclaimed. “And that was a dangerous path that we were going down. We were going down that path. President Trump has vowed to make free speech a very important part of his position. “And we need to stop censoring information like this. And we need to stop all government influence over what people say.”
Mr. Logan concluded by saying that free speech and the First Amendment are core tenets of the American spirit and are among our most important freedoms.
Rogan famously invited Donald Trump on his show late in the 2024 presidential campaign, and he and Trump had a wide-ranging three-hour podcast conversation.
The podcaster also tried to get Kamala Harris to appear on his show, but the Democrat ultimately refused to appear after Rogan balked at the enormous requirements he tried to place on her appearance.
