President-elect Trump announced Friday that he is adding two more members to his White House staff and promoting a campaign spokesperson to head of communications shop.
President Trump announced that Stephen Chan will return to the White House as Chief of Staff and Director of Communications. Chan previously served as the communications director for the Trump-Vance campaign and as the White House's director of strategic affairs during Trump's first term.
Additionally, President Trump confirmed that Sergio Gore will join the White House as Director of Presidential Personnel. Go is an ally and business partner of Donald Trump Jr., head of the pro-Trump political action committee Right for America, and previously worked in Republican Sen. Rand Paul's office.
“Steven Chan and Sergio Go have been trusted advisors since my first presidential election in 2016, and have worked tirelessly to guide me through my first term and to my historic victory in 2024,” President Trump said in a statement. Go's impending appointment was first reported by Semaphore on Thursday and was also welcomed by Trump Jr.

Both Chan and Goh are loyal to the president-elect.
