A Southwest Airlines passenger plane was struck by bullets Friday night as it prepared to take off from Dallas Love Field Airport.
A spokesperson for Southwest Airlines told Fox News Digital that Southwest Airlines Flight 2494 was struck by a bullet in the right side of the aircraft just below the flight deck as the crew was preparing to depart for Indianapolis. He said he was able to safely taxi back to the terminal at Dallas Love Field.
A spokesperson said no injuries were reported.

Southwest Airlines said it planned to put the customer on another flight and added that it had notified law enforcement authorities. The aircraft was also grounded.
Dallas police confirmed to Fox News Digital that they are investigating the incident.

This is the second shooting incident involving an aircraft this week, after Spirit Airlines. Flights from Florida On Monday, he was shot while landing in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
