Alec Baldwin unveils RFK Jr. impression on 'Saturday Night Live'

Alec Baldwin played Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President-elect Trump's nominee to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), on this weekend's latest episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

The cold open, set in what appears to be the Oval Office, depicts last week's meeting between President Biden, played by Dana Carvey, and President-elect Trump, played by James Austin Johnson.

The sketch pokes fun at some of Trump's controversial nominees. During the hypothetical meeting, Baldwin, as Kennedy, interrupted the meeting between the two presidents.

“Hey, I'm not going to interrupt you,” Baldwin, who plays Kennedy, said to audience applause. “Once again, I would like to say that it is a great honor to serve as Director of the Department of Health and Human Services.

“Americans need people like me, a 70-year-old man with movie star looks and brain parasites, to teach us how to be healthy,” Kennedy said. Baldwin added, nodding to the parasite the president told doctors. In 2010, he said he ate part of his brain.

“Bobby, I love you and I can't wait to see what you do for this country when it comes to health and the measles outbreak,” Johnson responded, echoing Trump.

Scoffing at Kennedy's vaccine skepticism, Baldwin, in his personal style, continued: I wish people would take my appointment more seriously. Okay, I have to go. There was a dead dolphin in the car. I think I'll cut it in half and throw it in Central Park. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for your work, dude. ”

Baldwin has played other politicians on SNL, most notably Trump over the years. He was recently portrayed by Fox News journalist Bret Baier in a parody of his interview with Vice President Harris last month.
