The Library of Congress' email system was the victim of a major hack by a “foreign adversary” earlier this year, Fox News has confirmed.
It is unclear whether the hack compromised the accounts of people working directly in the House and Senate.
However, FOX News reported that Capitol Police has referred the matter to the FBI, which is investigating the scope of the hack.
