Raiders’ Brock Bowers talks ‘cool’ Trump celebration; team curiously ends press session right after: report

Las Vegas Raiders forward Brock Bowers spoke out Sunday night about his touchdown celebration against the Miami Dolphins that was inspired by President-elect Donald Trump.

Miami scored 17 points in the fourth quarter and won 34-19.

“I've seen everyone do it,” Bowers said, according to USA Today. “I watched a UFC fight last night and Jon Jones fought. I like watching UFC, so I saw that and thought it was cool.”

After questions were asked, USA Today reported that the team had finished speaking to the media.

The decision to end the offer raised eyebrows.

Athletes were seen performing the Trump dance around the NFL on Sunday. Calvin Ridley and Nick Westbrook Ikain of the Tennessee Titans and Za'Darius Smith and Malcolm Rodriguez of the Detroit Lions also made the move.

UFC star Jon Jones set social media ablaze by doing this after KOing Stipe Miocic at UFC 309. Trump was cageside for this match.

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa started doing his dance moves last week after firing Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield. Bosa's teammates also joined him.

“I think you know the answer to that question,” Bosa said, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. “Everybody wanted me to do it. I wasn't going to do it either, but the boys reminded me. And it was fun.”
