In a post on X, the senator accused international organizations of persistently spreading “classical and pervasive anti-Semitism.”
The UN Special Committee's report asserted that “Israel's policies and practices during the reporting period are consistent with the characteristics of genocide.”
Mr. Fetterman denied the report.

“What is really consistent is the UN's position, rampant anti-Semitism. I reject this report in its entirety. I vote for @RepStefanik to continue his strong and unapologetic pro-Israel position. I'm looking forward to it,” he tweeted.
President-elect Trump announced last week that he would nominate Stefanik to the position.
“She will be a great ambassador to the United Nations who will bring peace through strength and an America-first national security policy!” President Trump said in a statement.

Mr. Fetterman also called Mr. Trump's choice of Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) for secretary of state a “strong choice,” saying that Mr. Rubio, another strong supporter of Israel, was a “strong choice.” He said he looked forward to the vote to confirm his appointment as secretary of state.
Mr. Fetterman has been vocal in his staunch support for Israel in the wake of Hamas' heinous terrorist attack on a U.S. ally on October 7, 2023.
