MSNBC's “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough dismissed the intense criticism he and co-host Mika Brzezinski are facing for their meeting with President-elect Trump over the weekend.
“First of all, I want to thank everyone for being so kind to me last night,” Scarborough said on Tuesday morning's talk show. “Yesterday, I realized for the first time what a huge disconnect there is between social media and the real world.”
The host said he was “inundated with calls all day long from people literally all over the world,” and that the calls were “very positive, very supportive.”
