Democrats laughed when we said we were going to fight fire with fire and align with their ground strategy.
Well, who's laughing now?
After knocking on more than 510,000 doors and securing 34.5% of mail-in votes for Republicans, the adventurous efforts of my organization, Citizens United, came to fruition.Pennsylvania Chase” helped deliver the Keystone State and return Donald Trump to the White House. This was a monumental victory not only for Pennsylvania, but for the nation. We launched Pennsylvania Chase with the audacious goal of increasing mail-in voter turnout for President Trump from 22.9% to 33%.
The victory, which received 34.5% of mail-in votes, was due to the flawless management of the Trump presidential campaign. Dave McCormick Senate Campaign — Add to that the tireless efforts of a grassroots coalition with America First Works, Turning Point Action, America PAC, Early Vote Action, and others.
Together, we proved that conservatives can win when they adapt.
But let's be clear: this is not the end of the story. It is the beginning of a new chapter in the freedom movement.
For years, Democrats have outpaced us in building the infrastructure needed to dominate elections, from early voting to vote-by-mail programs to community organizing. In Pennsylvania, the tables have finally turned. By aligning their ground combat with focused, data-driven efforts, we have broken down barriers and created a blueprint for success. However, this infrastructure is not a one-time effort. If you treat it that way, you risk losing all the progress you've made.
From Operation Door Knock to Ballot Tracking Teams, the systems we have built in Pennsylvania must become a permanent part of our strategy. This means continuing to hire, train, and deploy organizers throughout the year, not just during presidential election season.
Democrats have proven the effectiveness of this approach, and it is imperative that conservatives adopt it to ensure lasting success. The model that worked so well in Pennsylvania should be expanded into an ongoing effort.
our Success in Pennsylvania was rooted in engaging voters on the issues that mattered most to them. From inflation to education to public safety, we connected with our communities by directly addressing their concerns. This hyper-local effort is critical to maintaining momentum and fostering trust among voters. This is the strategy that should guide conservative efforts across the country, ensuring we meet voters where they are and show we are fighting for their priorities.
This victory is also a reminder that we must prepare for the long game. With the 2026 midterm elections and 2028 general election already around the corner, the Democratic Party will be more determined than ever to regain momentum. Complacency is not an option.
More importantly, Democrats have announced that they will return to the field in Pennsylvania on January 1, 2025, to resume mail-in requests for the 2025 judicial elections. They don't let off gas, but neither do we.
Waiting months until the next election cycle to rally will only allow our opponents to outnumber us.
If you don't take advantage of this moment, you risk wasting the opportunities you've spent years building. The Democratic Party's electoral machinery remains strong, and they will work tirelessly to undo the gains we have made. The infrastructure we built in Pennsylvania wasn't just about winning one election, it was about creating a movement that would ensure victory for years to come.
Conservatives need to understand that this victory is not just a celebration of what we accomplished, but a preparation for what comes next.
Our success in 2024 proves that grassroots organizing works, and this is a model we need to refine and expand if we want to achieve lasting victories. From national leaders to local volunteers, everyone has a role to play in ensuring we continue to grow the momentum we've built.
The stakes are too high to sit back and hope for the best. We laid the foundation for a stronger and more effective conservative movement. It's up to us to ensure that what we accomplish in 2024 is just the beginning of a brighter future for America.
