Bill Maher is still accusing the left of that nonsense, even though he couldn't get over Trump Derangement Syndrome and ended up voting for Kamala Harris.

Showing images of panels on “The View” and MSNBC, Maher said, “Someone told the usual suspects on the left that the proverb is, 'Once you're in a hole, keep digging.' “We need to tell them that it's time to stop.”
