‘He’s a Warrior:’ GOP Congress Members Back Gaetz For AG

Many of Matt Gaetz's colleagues in the House of Representatives support President-elect Donald Trump's choice to nominate Gaetz as attorney general in the next administration.

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) says the Senate should confirm Gaetz because Americans voted for change.

“The American people have spoken loud and clear, and I think senators should do their best to align themselves with President Trump's nominees,” Comer said. Some American news.

“They want chaos in Washington, D.C.,” Comer continued. “They want to drain the swamp, and I think Matt Gates can do that.”

Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas) says the country needs someone like Gaetz to change the trajectory of the country.

“This country has been going downhill for four years under the Biden administration's woke policies,” Babin said. “We need people who can shake up the forest a little bit, and I think Gates may be one of the people who can do just that.”

Rep. Ben Kline (R-Va.) explained that Gaetz knows exactly how to fix the Justice Department.

“He is a fighter against the weaponization of the Department of Justice and against the legal actions that the Biden administration is taking,” Klein said. “So he knows exactly what he has to do with the Justice Department to fix the problem.”
