A disgraced Maryland teacher who had sex with a teenage student nearly 20 times has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, but only one year for the crime.
Melissa Marie Curtis, 32, was sentenced to 30 years in prison, with 12 months suspended, for having sex with a 14-year-old girl in 2015 while she was a teacher at Montgomery Village Middle School. . Fox 5 DC reported.
