Last month, Canadian authorities ruled out foul play after the charred body of a teenage Walmart employee was found inside a walk-in oven.
Police have now concluded their investigation, a month after Gursimran Kaur, 19, was cooked to death inside a large walk-in bakery oven at a Walmart in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her mother also works at the superstore and made the horrifying discovery in October. 19.
“As a result of the police investigation, it was determined that the death was not suspicious and there was no evidence of criminal activity.” Halifax Police Department made the announcement Monday.

Police initially called the investigation “complex” but did not release the cause or cause of death.
Kaur and her mother, an Indian immigrant who had worked at the Mumford Road Walmart for the past two years, spent more than an hour in silence, leaving her mother in hysterics, according to a GoFundMe set up by the Gurdwara Maritime Sikh Association. It is said that he made him fall into it.
Her co-workers thought she was helping customers in the huge store, but her mother became increasingly worried when her daughter stopped answering the phone.
Hours later, another staff member noticed a “leak” from the area and the distressed mother finally opened the oven door and was faced with a shocking scene.
“At just 19 years old, Gursimran Kaur was a beautiful young girl who came to Canada with big dreams,” a family spokesperson wrote on the fundraising page.
“Imagine the horror her mother experienced when she opened the oven. The family's suffering is unimaginable and indescribable.”
Kaur, a member of the local Sikh community, had only lived in Canada for three years.
The boy's father and brother live in India, and proceeds from the GoFundMe will help the grieving family and travel expenses as they prepare to travel to Canada.
Since then, the fundraiser has raised more than $194,000.
The retail store has remained closed since the tragic incident as it undergoes renovations, including removing all walk-in ovens.
“Our deepest thoughts remain with the families and those involved as they continue to grieve,” Walmart Canada spokeswoman Amanda Moss said. told USA Today.
“Our store will remain closed as we complete ongoing renovations. We look forward to welcoming customers back to our renovated store in the coming weeks.”
