Dave Portnoy slammed country singer Zach Bryan after he allegedly paid a UFC fighter to cheer in front of his ex-girlfriend Brianna “Chicken-Fry” LaPaglia.
Post to Instagram On Wednesday, the Barstools Media founder brought up the eventful incident in which his “BFFs” co-host attended a UFC bout between David Onama and Roberto Romero.
“I told you I was done talking about that poor little guy, Zach Bryan. […] But listen to this story,'' Portnoy, 47, said, reflecting on the situation Saturday night.
He went on to explain that Lapaglia, 25, attended the match and was forced to listen to Onama shout out Byan, 28, during his celebratory speech.
“I want to come here again next month and see Zach Bryan in concert,'' says Onama. told host Joe Rogan. After defeating Romero in the Octagon. “So that's why I'm here.”
Portnoy then highlighted the player's admission in Tuesday's game. SiriusXM's “Fight Nation” Podcast Episode He said he was not a fan of Bryan and was simply following his manager's instructions.
“So my manager… [told me]”Zach Bryan wants you to come here and support his show here in New York City,” Onama, 30, recalled in the episode.
“Honestly, I had no idea who Zach Bryan was. I don't know who Zach Bryan is, but I'm sending you cheers, I'm giving you love, and that's why I'm sending you a shout. That's why I sent it.”
When the show's host asked if it was “promotion” or “paid advertising,” he replied: That's literally what it meant. ”
Portnoy then returned to the conversation, explaining that fans initially thought the scream was “terrible” for LaPaglia to hear as a viewer, before pointing out:[Onama] I don’t even know who fucking Zach Bryan is! ”
“This 4-foot-8, fucking psychopath is pathetic and has lost his place needing to shout at the UFC guys for trying to rub it in Bligh's face?” Portnoy continued. “Like Brianna gave it AF!”
The Barstool Sports founder went on to say that he knows Brian is “popular” and has a strong fan base, adding, “I don't have to bribe people to say this.” he said. [his] name. ”

LaPaglia talked about his plans to attend the fight on his TikTok and was seen on camera, but Bryan did not appear to be at the event.
Representatives for Brian did not respond to Page Six's request for comment.
The “Pink Skies” singer made headlines last month after announcing on her Instagram Story that she and LaPaglia had broken up after a year of dating.
However, LaPaglia continued to claim that she was “blindsided” by the announcement after they agreed to share the news at her convenience.
She later accused Brian of emotional abuse and trying to pay her $12 million to keep her quiet.
