Sunny Hostin Forced To Read Legal Disclaimer After Slamming Matt Gaetz Over Dropped DOJ Misconduct Allegations

A recently recorded clip of “The View” has gone viral again. Co-host Sunny Hostin appeared dissociated when forced to read out a legal disclaimer regarding allegations surrounding former Congressman Matt Gaetz.

She previously lashed out at Gates, even though the allegations of sexual misconduct against him were dropped by the Justice Department and he was never indicted.

Gaetz (R-Fla.), who was nominated by President-elect Trump to be attorney general, is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl and paying another woman for sex while he was speaker of the Florida House of Representatives. is facing suspicion of

Gaetz has denied all related allegations, and the Justice Department investigation ended without charges being filed against the former lawmaker.

“The Department of Justice has a sex crimes unit, and I was part of it. Child sex crimes and child trafficking. Child trafficking, cross-state trafficking, sex acts with 17-year-olds. How can you name someone who is suspected of something?'' Hostin asked on an episode that aired Tuesday ahead of “Legal Memo.''

Meanwhile, the show's other co-host, Whoopi Goldberg, also spoke during the segment, saying: ” and they say, “It's no big deal.'' You know, all the little kids that are being abused, they have no recourse right now because this is the person responsible. ”

Shortly afterward, Hostin was asked to read a legal disclaimer by Goldberg, visibly furious.
