Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) mocked his Democratic colleagues during a Senate Republican leadership press conference this week by using pronouns before speaking.
“Hi, I'm Steve Daines, and my pronouns are Republican Majority,” he said with a laugh, before stating his own pronouns first or asking others their preferred pronouns so as not to offend them. he said, mocking leftists who try to show off how inclusive they feel by doing so. They or the man may be perceived as a “she”.
Daines used the rest of his remarks to send a sharp message to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (R-N.Y.) and incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pennsylvania), the latter of whom was Republican Dave.・He has refused to concede in the election campaign with Mr. McCormick. .
“I have a simple message for Chuck Schumer and Bob Casey: It's over. Dave McCormick is the next senator from Pennsylvania,” Daines said, adding that Casey “takes election denial to a new level. “I pulled it up,” he accused.
Daines noted that Casey believes unsigned ballots should be counted, saying:
But it didn't work, despite calls from The Associated Press and the Decision Desk for Dave McCormick to run, despite losing by nearly 20,000 votes. Senator Casey has refused to concede and ultimately not only denied the legitimate results of this election, but also advocated lawlessness to overturn it.
“Where does this kind of logic stop?” Daines asked. “Even the Bucks County commissioners went so far as to say that people break the law whenever they want, which I quote. So, to me, breaking this law is not paying attention to the court. This is a dangerous precedent. “Fortunately, yesterday, the left-wing Pennsylvania Supreme Court put an end to this nonsense,” the senator continued, adding that Casey and his allies were “using an illegal election-denial scheme” against the system. They accused him of undermining the public's trust.
Daines went a step further, saying Democrats who buy into the narrative promoted by Schumer and Casey and refuse to speak out are “accomplices.”
“Dave McCormick is the 53rd Republican United States Senator,” he declared. “Senator Casey should concede immediately.”
In fact, this week the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that undated ballots cannot be counted.
“I don't necessarily think they're going to win this time,” Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley said of the Democratic-led effort.
“What they're trying to do is set a precedent for these votes to be counted in the future, because Casey really has no path forward right now. They're in the middle, you know. The recount is expected to be completed next week. It's an automatic trigger recount that he could have waived. 30,000. I've never seen a recount where such a large margin was overturned. But he's going ahead with it, and he's trying to challenge these kinds of individual votes,” Whatley said. added.
