The Pentagon announced it has solved one of the most famous UFO videos that sparked a wave of national interest and speculation when it was first released in 2017.
Department of Defense officials testified before Congress Tuesday said the attention to the wildly popular “GOFAST” video, once considered some of the best evidence of the reality of unidentified flying objects, was unwarranted.
Dr. John Kosloski, director of the All-Field Anomaly Resolution Office, said the object seen by a Navy fighter jet off the coast of Florida appears to be moving very quickly due to a perspective phenomenon known as parallax.

“After using very careful geospatial analysis and trigonometry, we assess with high confidence that the object is not actually near the water surface, but rather closer to 13,000 feet,” Kosloski said. testified at the hearing.
However, Kosloski did not identify the object in the GOFAST video. He said AARO will publish a report on the parallax claims on its official website.
The “GOFAST” video shows a radar recording of an object that appears to be moving at incredibly high speeds, not far from the water's surface.

The FLIR radar displayed small blips on the screen that moved so quickly that the pilot had to manually lock on to the target.
he exclaimed when the radar operator was finally able to lock on to the moving target. Got it! ”
In the video, someone can be heard saying on the radio, “What the hell?”
Another voice was heard saying, “Wow, what is that? Look at it flying!”
Despite dashing the hopes of UFO and UAP enthusiasts, Kosloski testified before Congress that there are still 21 unsolved cases.
In one such incident, law enforcement officers from the “West” witnessed a large orange orb hovering several hundred feet above the round.
The officer reported approaching a “blacker-than-black object” about the size of a Toyota Prius.
According to Kosloski's testimony, when the officer got within 100 feet of the object, the object shot into the air at an incredible 45-degree angle.
This was also recorded on the US East Coast by operators working from aircraft.

In yet another mysterious incident, two southeastern government contractors saw a “large metal cylinder about the size of a commercial aircraft” hovering motionless for 15 to 20 seconds, according to testimony Tuesday. reported seeing it.
“Unless it's an airship, an object this large and stationary is obviously unusual, but the fact that it then disappears doesn't explain how that could happen,” Kosloski told Congress.
At a hearing last week, whistleblowers in the UAP and UFO communities testified to Congress that they were aware of secret research programs conducted by the U.S. government, including crash recoveries and top-secret back-engineering programs.
