President-elect Trump hosted PGA Tour champion Dustin Johnson at Trump International Golf Course on Wednesday.
Johnson's younger brother, Austin Johnson, shared photos and video of the round on his blog. Instagram post. The video showed the brothers watching as Trump made a practice swing before making a sound stroke and sending the ball flying straight toward the hole.
The sound of Trump's club colliding with the ball echoed throughout the course.
“It's very beautiful, sir,” said Austin. “It's right in the middle.”

Dustin Johnson is one of many golf superstars to support Trump, joining Bryson DeChambeau, Anthony Kim and John Daly.
On Nov. 6, Johnson attended Trump's party celebrating his 2024 presidential election victory with NHL legend Wayne Gretzky. Gretzky's daughter Paulina is married to Johnson and they have been together since 2013.
Johnson has played golf with Trump since November 2017, when Trump hosted him and Tiger Woods at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida. Johnson was ranked No. 1 in the world at the time.
Trump's golf game has long been recognized as an aspect of his lifestyle and past presidency. Trump has played golf with some of golf's top stars, including DeChambeau, Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Woods. He has also played with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Republican allies such as Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and former Georgia Sen. David Perdue.

South Korean President Yun Seok-Yeol has reportedly started practicing golf in anticipation of a meeting with President-elect Trump.
Yun started practice after having a brief phone call with President Trump to congratulate him on his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris. A few days after the phone call, Yun “picked up his golf club and resumed golf practice for the first time in eight years,” his office told NBC News.

The sport also plays a big role in the Trump family.
Kai Trump, Donald Trump Jr.'s 17-year-old daughter, posted on Instagram a recent photo taken with her grandfather at Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach, a few miles west of Mar-a-Lago. Shared the photo.
The proud granddaughter captioned the post, “Sunday with Grandpa,” along with a heart symbol. The post included a selfie that Kai Trump shared with the president-elect, as well as a video of her on a golf course and a photo of her with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Kai is back Trump National Golf Club Bedminster To play the front nine of a course she said was one of her and her grandfather's favorite courses. During the round, Kai revealed that he had recently listened to a number of voicemails left by President Trump.
“So, yesterday I was reviewing my voicemails, and I saw some voicemails from my grandpa, because when I call him, he always answers. But if he doesn't answer the phone, If I was in an interview or something, my grandfather would call me back. It's always 12 o'clock at night, and of course I'm asleep at 12 o'clock,” Kai said with a laugh.
