PayPal announced Thursday that it is “experiencing a system issue” that appears to be interfering with merchants' ability to process payments.
The San Jose, California-based technology giant published an incident report on its website Thursday, saying the outage “may be impacting multiple products in production.”
“Sellers may encounter a number of error messages.”
“Our technical team is actively working to resolve the issue,” the company said.
The Post has reached out to PayPal for comment.

However, as of 8:30 a.m., the number of failures reported by Downdetector had significantly decreased and users were able to access the site.
