Earlier this week, The View's Sunny Hostin, who Dave Rubin believes is “the most racist person on mainstream television,” spoke out about Matt Gaetz, President Trump's pick for attorney general before he withdrew the nomination. He uttered “somewhat uncontrollable verbal abuse.”
“How can you name someone who is accused of child trafficking across state lines or having sex with a 17-year-old?As I further understood in the interview, they believe that she is 17-years-old. And when we found out, we talked about the fact that we were going to stop having sex with her,” Hostin said during the panel discussion.
Two days later, Hostin was forced by the show's legal team to correct this slur against Matt Gaetz live on air.
Dave plays Hostin's “eating crow” clip, and the look on her face is priceless.
“Sonny, you have legal notes,” Whoopi Goldberg told Hostin.
“I have a legal memo. Thank you, Whoopi,” Hostin retorted vehemently before beginning to read off the teleprompter.
“Matt Gaetz has long denied all allegations, calling the claims 'fabricated' and saying in a statement to ABC News that we view this false smear following a three-year criminal investigation with great suspicion. said it should. “The Department of Justice investigation ended with no charges filed,” she read robotically, with death in her eyes.
