Transgender Miss Nevada Suggests Capitol Hill Restroom Battle Is About Protecting Trans People from ‘Trans-Attracted’ Republicans

Cataluna Enriquez, a biological male who identifies as female and who won the title of Miss Nevada USA in 2021, urged lawmakers to use the bathroom according to their biological sex. He said Congress' attempts to mandate it would be “disgusting.” Enriquez went so far as to suggest that it could be unsafe for men who identify as women to use the men's restrooms at the Capitol because “most transgender men are Republicans.”

Enriquez: “Honestly, I think it's all disgusting.” said TMZ. “At this point, we're just tired. There are so many other issues in this country that we should be focusing on, not the divisive false narratives against trans people.”

“The fact that she just says, 'Yes, I'll follow the rules,' says a lot about her personality and her mission and her focus on actually just being there to do the job.” “It speaks volumes,” Enriquez added.

Enriquez was responding to Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) announcing that she would introduce legislation that would ban biological males from using the women's restrooms in the Capitol. He was referring to the reaction of Congressman (Democrat, Delaware). Mr. McBride said he would abide by this policy.

“As a trans woman, I would do the exact same thing,” Enriquez said. “When I use the toilet, I am focused on using the toilet. There are no other intentions, no other stories.”

“When we're talking about a place for women and the protection of children, that's what I'm here for,” Enriquez insisted, adding, “But I don't think it's the same story.”

“What Sen. Mace is actually saying is not true,” Enriquez argued. “I can clearly see the fear and hatred.”

Enriquez went on to say that transgender bathroom issues are “really exhausting, disgusting, and unnecessary,” and that the Mace bill would “not only target transgender people, but biologically non-feminine people.” It's dangerous for women, even just women.” I became a little more manly. ”

The former Miss Nevada winner went so far as to suggest that using the men's restroom could be dangerous for her, claiming that “most men who are attracted to transgender people are Republicans.”

“Essentially, we're asking trans women like me to use the same restrooms as men. And you don't know this, but trans people do, but trans men… Most of them are Republicans,” Enriquez said.

“You’re asking me to use the same restroom as them, but you’re asking trans men with beards and men’s clothes to use the women’s restroom, because it’s better? Because it makes some sense?'' Enriquez asked.
