Trump nominates Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer as secretary of labor

President-elect Trump announced Friday that he will nominate Rep. Lori Chavez Delemer (R-Ore.) to be secretary of labor.

Chavez Deremer joins House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), Rep. Mike Walz (R-Fla.) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) as Trump's new president. He will be the fourth current House Republican elected to the administration. Gaetz withdrew from consideration Thursday.
