Kerry suggests Africans without electricity must pick ‘the right kinds of electricity’

Former Secretary of State John Kerry has claimed there is a “climate emergency” and Africans without electricity need to choose “the right kind of electricity,” perhaps referring to green energy production. and suggested that the United States needs to help Africans access electricity.

Democrats say, “We need to declare a climate emergency. This is what we really have. And we need people to act as if this is really a big transitional challenge for the entire planet.'' Yes,” he suggested.

He pointed out that the United States is the largest economy on earth, with China in second place.

Mr. Kelly is a former senator, the 2004 Democratic presidential candidate who lost to incumbent Republican President George W. Bush, and served as Secretary of State for part of President Barack Obama's White House tenure.

He previously served as special climate envoy under President Joe Biden.
