In a brutal display of human nature, three disgruntled cemetery workers in Tennessee went on a rampage because they had just been fired, jumping onto a company truck and knocking down 170 gravestones.
Monday's brutal massacre at New Park Cemetery in Memphis saw panicked owner Jeff Roberts jump into his car to try to stop the trio, only to be left with tens of thousands of dollars in damage. was not reached. WREG reported.
Mr Roberts said he had warned monument suppliers that he might have to place emergency orders and hired temporary staff to ensure all headstones were properly installed by Christmas.
He did not say why the three employees were fired, but declined to press charges because he was “concerned about the potential for further harm at this time.”

“We are contacting and informing the families whose monuments need to be replaced. We regret that this has occurred and our sympathies go out to the families affected.” Ta.
The tombstones cost about $1,000 each.
