After a few weeks of sharing, Rico Doodle has taken control of the Cowboys background.
The fourth-year running back has led Dallas in carries in each of the last four games and has double-digit handoffs in all four games, including 19 in Sunday's win over the Commanders.
Doodle ran for 86 yards in the game. That was the second-most in a game this season, behind only the Cowboys' surprisingly strong offensive line.
He will have an even easier assignment come Thanksgiving, when the Giants visit Dallas for a divisional game between two teams looking to keep them out of the cellar of the NFC East.
Big Blue's run defense has been terrible this season. In fact, it's the worst in the league.
The Giants allow an NFL-best 5.2 yards per carry and allow 147.9 total rushing yards per game, the third-most in the league.
Just last week, rookie ball carrier Bucky Irving exploded for 87 yards on just 12 attempts.
Before the Giants' bye week, Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard was on a rampage, racking up 153 yards and a touchdown.
Doodle must be licking his chops.
Since Dak Prescott also went down, the Cowboys' offense has been much better than expected thanks to quarterback Cooper Rush, averaging 360 total yards over the past two games.

Bet Rivers oddsmakers estimate the over/under for Dowdle's rushing yards to be 65.5.
He has surpassed that number in just three games this season, but twice in the last four.
But this is as good a shot as any in a big dowdle game.
Play: Rico Doodle, over 65.5 rushing yards (-115, BetRivers Sportsbook)
