Talk about a whirlwind in Sin City!
The fiancée of former Jets quarterback and current Broncos signal-caller Zach Wilson took to Instagram Wednesday to reflect on last weekend's girls' trip to Las Vegas, where Denver dominated the Raiders 29-19.
The post is captioned, “24 hours in Las Vegas!” Nicolette Delano, who announced her engagement to Wilson in the summer, can be seen hanging out with Izzy Nix, wife of rookie starting quarterback Bo Nix, and Kennedy Stidham, who is married to backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham.
The women dined at Catch Restaurant the night before Sunday's contest at Allegiant Stadium.
Nix, the Broncos' 12th overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, went 25-of-42 for 273 yards and two touchdowns against the Raiders, helping Denver improve to 7-5 on the season.
Like Nix and Izzy, this will be Wilson and Delano's first season in Denver.
Wilson, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, spent the first three years of his career with the Jets.
He had an eventful two seasons as a starter before coach Gang Green brought in Aaron Rodgers for the 2023 season.
Last year was supposed to be a reset for the old BYU team, but just four plays into the season Rodgers suffered a torn Achilles tendon and Wilson was pushed back into the starting lineup.
Wilson finished his final year in New York by throwing eight touchdowns and seven interceptions through 12 games.
He was traded to the Broncos in April.
“I was grateful for the experience and the players there. I miss the guys and everything there. But at the same time, it's good to have a fresh start. I'm excited to take on a new challenge,” Wilson said. He talked about the month's trade.
He is No. 3 on the quarterback depth chart.
The Broncos are currently the No. 7 seed in the AFC playoff race and will host the Browns (3-8) on Sunday.
Wilson and Delano's romance first surfaced in 2022 when they were spotted together at a Yankees game.
