Smith was a second-round pick of the Jets in 2013. He played for the Jets from 2013 to 2016, before parting ways with the Jets and eventually joining the Seahawks. Williams played with the Jets from 2015 until midway through the 2019 season, before being traded to the New York Giants. He was traded to the Seahawks last season.

Smith had 206 passing yards and one touchdown, while Williams had two sacks and one interception returned 92 yards for a touchdown. Seattle won the game 26-21.

New York led 21-7 in the second quarter when a pass from Aaron Rodgers found its way into Williams' hands with 7:39 left in the first half. That sparked a spectacular comeback.

Smith led the Seahawks on a nine-play, 71-yard drive that ended with Zach Charbonnet's 8-yard touchdown run. Seattle was able to pick up another set of downs thanks to two penalties by the Jets on fourth down. They ended up burning them for that.

In the second half, Seattle's defense strangled the Jets' offense. Seattle made a lot of special teams mistakes in the first half, allowing the Jets to take an early advantage.

A fumble early on the kickoff led to a touchdown for the Jets, then Kene Nwanwu returned the kick 99 yards for a score.

Rodgers completed 21 of 39 for 185 yards and two touchdown passes. Davante Adams and Isaiah Davis each had a touchdown catch.
