Jon Stewart takes aim at Biden for lying about Hunter pardon: ‘Now look at the dance Democrats have to do’

“The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart on Monday mocked President Biden's decision to pardon his son Hunter Biden, even though he has repeatedly said he would not pardon him.

“Hypocrisy is not illegal. It's not particularly unusual in politics,” Stewart said. “The problem is that the remaining Democrats have made Biden's promise not to pardon Hunter the cornerstone of American defense, this great experiment.”

After Hunter Biden was indicted and convicted, Stewart showed footage of several Democrats and members of the media saying the president had no intention of pardoning his son. It advertised that it respects the

“Because the justice system that convicted my only surviving son is the same justice system he was sworn to protect,” Psaki said at the time. “If this doesn’t tell you who Joe Biden is, I have no idea what does.”

Stewart also played some footage of Democrats defending the pardon after it happened.

Following these clips, he responded, “Yeah! Everything you guys are saying is true, you moral masons between Democrats and Republicans that Hunter Biden didn't get pardoned. If I hadn't made it a line against Dixon, there's a big problem there.'' “The only thing that separates us from animals is the law.'' “The first thing the monkey threw at me was that I had no choice. Stewart continued: “This is the result of Biden's decision. Look at how confident and eloquent Democrats were when they thought they had the moral high ground on this issue. ” he continued.

He then showed footage of Democratic Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin and said, “Everywhere in this country, Democrats are crying fraud, crying match-fixing, crying cheating, crying in kangaroo court. “I haven't heard any peeps from the people,” he said. We believe in the rule of law, so why are we saying this? ”

Stewart argued that Democrats continue to be caught “creating purity tests for systems that we don't think we can pass on our own,” and cited other examples, including: Biden's fist bump Secret documents scandal with the Saudi crown prince.
