Ahead of the 2024 World Series, Chisholm declared he was born to play in New York.

“I think it's because the lights are bright. I feel like I play a little bit better when the lights are shining the brightest and when there's more pressure,” he told The Post's Steve Serby on 9. He said this in an interview this month.

Chisholm also made a pitch to former Yankees teammate Juan Soto, the biggest free agent available this offseason.

“I mean, I want to be a Yankee forever, too,” he said. “Soto, I want to play with him for the rest of my career…We're in this together, brother!”
