Bill Maher Suggests Ending His HBO Show over Return of Trump: ‘I’m Sh**ting My Pants’

his recent club random podcast, hbo real time Host Bill Maher laments Donald Trump's return to Washington, D.C., and may quit both his HBO talk show and stand-up career to avoid engaging with Trump again he claimed.

“My pants are falling off. I mean, I might quit because I don't want to do it next time,” Maher said during a conversation with controversial guest Jane Fonda.

“I was the first to do everything about Trump. I was the first to call him a fraud and say, 'He's a mafia boss.' I was going to concede in the election. I said no. I did it,” Maher explained.

Mr. Fonda then interjected and asked why President Trump was more hostile to Jimmy Kimmel than Mr. Maher, but the HBO host disagreed, saying that Mr. Trump was indeed He said he was hostile towards him and had been attacking him on social media.

“I'm tired of it,” Maher exclaimed when Fonda suggested they try something else.

“The show is politics. There's nothing else. He's going to dominate the news like he always does,” he said of his HBO show.

Maher has also said he may give up on his career as a stand-up comedian.

“I was able to come back. I don't want to make any big announcements or anything. I'm doing a year-end special. This will be my 13th time on HBO. That's a lot.”

But before discussing giving up his stand-up career, he brought up the fact that there are too many regulations in America, especially California. Shocked by this, Fonda said she had never heard of such a thing and that all regulations were needed.

“Didn't you hear that California is over-taxed and over-regulated? That we're a one-party state with no checks on that kind of extreme leftism?” he asked Fonda.

Proving that she lives in a very liberal bubble, Fonda responded: Not at all. Absolutely not. ”

“Well, it shows you where your politics are,” Maher said. He went on to say that Trump won because many Americans who otherwise wouldn't have voted for him came to Trump's side because they felt the left had gone too far. He said it was the body.

“They don't like him that much,” he said of Trump's new voters. “They just think the far left is so crazy on so many issues.”

But Fonda was undeterred and answered: By people like you. ”

But Mr Maher won't sit quietly in the midst of the accusations, countering that people are being told “because it's true”.
