Daystar Christian television network embroiled in major scandal over alleged sexual abuse of founder’s grandchild

Evangelical Christian television network Daystar is currently embroiled in the worst kind of scandal involving child sexual abuse allegations and attempts to cover it up.

Founded by the late Marcus Lamb, Daystar is a family-run organization. Following Lamb's tragic passing in 2021, his widow and Daystar co-founder Joni Lamb became president of the company. Her son, Jonathan Lamb, most recently served as vice president, but was fired after failing to meet performance standards and refusing to participate in corrective action.

Since Jonathan's firing, past allegations have resurfaced. Jonathan and his wife Susie are now claiming that Marcus and Joni covered up the sexual abuse of their daughter in 2021.

Joni claims this is a blackmail campaign against Jonathan and her late husband seeking a change in Daystar's leadership that will prevent Jonathan from assuming the presidency.

So who's lying? Did Marcus and Joni really try to cover up their granddaughter's sexual abuse to protect Daystar's image? Or is Jonathan Lamb trying to blackmail his parents for locking him out of his position as president of Daystar and firing him?
