Netflix continues to build wish lists for its Christmas NFL extravaganza.
The streaming service giant is targeting ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes for a role on its Christmas doubleheader studio show, the Post reports.
A deal hasn't been finalized yet, but one source said ESPN would give Kimes the network's blessing if that's what he ultimately wants to do.
Spokespeople for ESPN and Netflix declined to comment to the Post.
In addition to his many other roles at the network, Kimes also serves as an analyst on ESPN's popular show “NFL Live.”
The Chiefs vs. Steelers is a matchup between two of the AFC's top three seeds, while the Ravens vs. Texans is a matchup between two teams that will be in the playoffs if the season ends today, so Netflix is offering a lucky draw with a doubleheader. I got it.
The Chiefs have star strength in Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and two-time Super Bowl champion coach Andy Reid, plus the potential addition of Taylor Swift.
The newspaper previously reported that Netflix was targeting Kay Adams to host the studio broadcast of the doubleheader.

The newspaper also reported the news that Netflix had appointed Tom Brady as a color commentator for the game, but that request was blocked by FOX Sports.
Netflix then set its sights on Ian Eagle, Noah Eagle, Greg Olsen, and Nate Burleson.
Reported by Andrew Marchand of The Athletic. The relationships between the four announcers have been finalized, and former Texans star and current CBS Sports studio analyst JJ Watt will also serve as a color commentator for one of the games.
CBS is producing games for Netflix.
