Germany also offered “true and sincere words” to President-elect Donald Trump in light of an attempt on his life.

“I forgave the young man who tried that. It's all about our love for young men and young women who are suffering from mental illness,” Germany said. “They need our help, and today we pray that we can work together and show them love. God bless America. We have the best country. It's the safest. I pray that it will become the best country in the world.”
