10 injured after California police officer on a motorcycle crashes into crowd at Christmas parade

A Palm Springs, Calif., police officer crashed his motorcycle into a crowd during a Christmas parade Saturday night.

Palm Springs police said 10 people, including the traffic officer who was driving the motorcycle, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The accident occurred on the parade route at Palm Canyon Drive and Amado Road just after 6 p.m.
