Jaguars’ Evan Engram Slapped With $11K Fine After Punishing Dirty-Hitting, Palestinian-Loving Azeez Al-Shaair: REPORT

Engram was fined the equivalent of $11,255 by the NFL for popping Al Sha'ir and slamming him in the face onto the field in retaliation. After Lawrence's hit and Engram's actions against Al Shayer, a huge brawl broke out between the Jags and Texans, and both benches were completely cleared out.

After the game, Engram said of Al Shayer's “dirty hit.”

“It was a dirty hit. At that moment, instinctively I didn't think it was a clean hit, so I had to stand up for the quarterback.” said Engram into the media. “I just knew it was wrong. It was a dirty play. You stood up for your guys. That's what it is.”

Evan Engram shouldn't have been fined, but anyway.
