Biden calls Assad regime collapse 'fundamental act of justice'

President Biden said in remarks at the White House on Sunday that the recent fall of the Assad regime in Syria was “an act of fundamental justice.”

“The Assad regime has finally fallen,” Biden said. “This regime has brutally tortured and murdered literally hundreds of thousands of innocent Syrians. [of the regime] It is a fundamental act of justice. ”
