A Florida teacher is facing shocking charges after police found her naked and surrounded by disturbing items in her elementary school classroom during the Thanksgiving holiday, authorities said.
Joe Urias, 34, who taught at Somerset College Preparatory Academy until his arrest, was found at Windmill Point Elementary School in St. Lucie.

After further investigation, police said Urias entered the school through an unlocked window despite being homeless and knowing it was a school holiday.
“There were no children present. There was no one in the school at the time. He was alone. As for the vulgarity, I wanted to get into his mind and wonder what he was thinking. I don’t think there is,” said Port St. Lucie Police Chief Leo Niemczyk.
“He said he was homeless and all he did was teach in schools, then hang out at Starbucks, and then sleep in public places whenever possible,” Holbert explained. “He knew that school was closed this week, so he planned to break into the school and stay there for a week.”
